PATNA-----------------------The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is facing serious challenges following the incident of theft involving temple offerings. Several accused individuals have been arrested based on the preliminary report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to probe the matter. Amidst this, the resignations of Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra have sparked fresh discussions regarding the Trust's leadership and administrative structure.

Eight accused individuals have been arrested so far following the registration of an FIR in the offering theft case. Investigative agencies are examining various aspects of the entire episode. Meanwhile, Trust President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das has been unwell for a long time and is unable to discharge active administrative responsibilities; consequently, the post of General Secretary has been considered the pivotal point for the Trust's operations.

Champat Rai's resignation has raised numerous questions concerning the Trust's key decisions and day-to-day operations. Furthermore, the departure of Anil Mishra—an active member of the Trust—has created a significant leadership vacuum. It is believed that investigative agencies have also taken action against other individuals associated with the Trust's daily operations, thereby impacting the administrative setup.

Meanwhile, there is also considerable speculation regarding the role of Gopal Ji Rao, a special invitee member of the Trust. Although no official action has been taken against him so far, reports indicate that he has been questioned during the investigation. Experts believe that under the current circumstances, there is a felt need for the restructuring of the Trust and the implementation of a more professional administrative system.

Former top officials and representatives of various religious organizations have also emphasized the need to strengthen the management system to keep pace with the times.

Thousands of devotees arrive in Ayodhya daily to seek the blessings of Ram Lalla. In this context, maintaining the temple's management and upholding the faith of the devotees will be the Trust's top priority. It is anticipated that significant changes to the Trust's operational methods and leadership structure may be introduced once the investigation concludes. For now, all eyes are fixed on the final report from the investigative agencies and the next steps to be taken by the Trust.
