BUXAR--------------------------The Buxar city unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a vigorous protest at Veer Kunwar Singh Chowk to condemn the lathi-charge by Jharkhand Police against students who were agitating over alleged irregularities, paper leaks, and mismanagement in JPSC-JSSC examinations. During the event, activists raised their voices in support of the students and burnt an effigy of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Sanjeet Yadav presided over the program, while Rishi Nandan Dubey conducted the proceedings. Department Convener Avinash Pandey stated that demanding transparency in examinations and asserting one's rights is a democratic prerogative of students; suppressing their voices through the use of force (lathi-charge) is unfortunate. He emphasized that any tampering with the students' future would not be tolerated.

District Convener Abhinandan Mishra remarked that the alleged irregularities surfacing in JPSC-JSSC examinations are jeopardizing the future of thousands of students. He urged the government to conduct an impartial inquiry into the entire matter, take strict action against the guilty, and ensure that future examinations are held with complete transparency and fairness. City Secretary Vivek Pandey stated that resorting to a lathi-charge against students instead of listening to their legitimate demands is a matter of serious concern for the democratic system. Meanwhile, State Executive Committee member Viraj Singh demanded an immediate halt to paper leaks and examination-related irregularities, as well as the identification and strict punishment of those responsible.

At the conclusion of the event, Priyanshu Shubham expressed gratitude to all the activists and attendees.

Hundreds of students, activists, and others were present on the occasion, including 'Khelo Bharat' Provincial Co-convenor Manish Singh, Himanshu Kashyap, Durgesh Pandey, Anand Pandey, Rohit Mishra, Aditya Singh, Nirbhay Ojha, Sudhanshu Ojha, Shrihari Pandey, Sagar Soni, Rahul Kumar, and Nandan Kumar.
