BUXAR--------------------------Blending the auspicious occasion of Independence Day with knowledge, talent, and patriotism, a grand 'Round Table Quiz'—the finale of the 'Junoon-e-Azadi' Freedom Quiz Contest—was organized on Friday at the Heritage School campus in Arjunpur. Students showcased their talent by enthusiastically answering questions related to the freedom struggle, nationalism, and India's glorious history.

Students from classes 8, 9, and 10, representing the school's four houses—Swami Vivekananda House, Vishwamitra House, Aryabhata House, and A.P.J. Abdul Kalam House—participated in the competition. Participants, selected based on a written test held in the first round, demonstrated their knowledge of history and current affairs during the grand finale.

The quiz featured questions covering the Indian freedom struggle, freedom fighters, the Revolt of 1857, nationalist movements, patriotism, books and films related to independence, and various aspects of the struggle for freedom. The participants displayed impressive quick-wittedness, confidence, and knowledge. Participants in the grand finale included Archit Pathak, Krishna Gaurav, and Akanksha Shree from Vishwamitra House; Shreshth Pathak, Sagun Singh, and Madhavendra Chaubey from Swami Vivekananda House; Naitik Singh, Satyam Kumar, and Ananya Tiwari from Aryabhata House; and Suraj Upadhyay, Prince Kumar, and Aanchal Kumari from A.P.J. Abdul Kalam House.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Ramesh Rai (Director, Smriti College and Aptech) and the school's President, Prem Kumar Pathak. Distinguished guests and well-wishers—including Dr. Srinivas Chaturvedi and Dr. Tanveer Faridi—encouraged the students and extended their best wishes for the event's success.

The successful students and the winning house will be honored and awarded during the Independence Day celebrations scheduled for August 15, 2026, on the school premises.

Appreciating the students' performance, the school principal remarked that such events play a vital role in developing children's intellectual capabilities, self-confidence, and leadership skills. He noted that students are consistently showcasing their talent across various academic and co-curricular activities, reflecting the school's strengthening educational foundation. ...stands as a testament.

School Director Dr. Pradeep Kumar Pathak stated that the continuous honing of students' talents and their achievements instill confidence that the school's children are moving towards realizing the dreams of the founder, Shri Dilip Pathak. He remarked that the management strives to ensure every student gets the opportunity to progress according to their talent and carve out a distinct identity in every sphere of life.

Senior teacher Amar Prasad Barua played a pivotal role in the successful organization of the event; he handled the responsibilities of conducting and organizing the program. He received technical and digital support from Pushpendu Mishra and Vivek Kumar. Meanwhile, Deputy Director Sudeep Kumar Pathak managed the event's logistics with the assistance of Raja Babu Sir and Ajay Kumar Singh. Vishwas Kumar made the arrangements for the welcome song truly engaging. The students' musical and cultural performances infused the event with enthusiasm and vibrancy.

Chief Guest Dr. Ramesh Rai and School President Prem Kumar Pathak blessed the students and wished them a bright future. Guests with long-standing ties to the school appreciated the positive transformation in the students' personalities and talents, extending their best wishes to the school management.
