ARA---------------------------A four-member CPI(ML) delegation met the Bhojpur SP to advocate for the safe recovery of 30-year-old Sanoj Ram, a resident of Ganj in Bihiya block.

The delegation included CPI(ML) Central Committee member Raju Yadav; State Committee member and former Agiaon MLA Shivprakash Ranjan; State Committee member Qyamuddin Ansari; and District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam.

During the meeting, CPI(ML) leaders stated that Sanoj Ram had been arrested by the Excise Department police on August 13, 2025, and has since gone missing from police custody. Although his family has repeatedly appealed to the district administration, Sanoj Ram has not been returned to them; there are fears that the police may have killed him.

The CPI(ML) leaders further remarked that police terror has escalated in Bihar since the formation of the Samrat Chaudhary government. They alleged that the police have been given a free hand to unleash terror, with encounters occurring frequently. The CPI(ML) leaders demanded that the Bhojpur SP ensure the safe recovery of Sanoj Ram.
