TIRANGA YATRA IN SHAHPUR

ARA------------------------Thursday marked a historic and proud occasion for Shahpur town. Around 4 PM, local citizens and public representatives organized a grand 'Tiranga Yatra' (Tricolour Procession) dedicated to the nation's unity and integrity, displaying unprecedented patriotic fervor. Led by Shahpur MLA Rakesh Ranjan Ojha, the procession infused the entire town with the spirit of patriotism.

Starting from Shahpur High School, the procession moved via Thana Mor (Police Station Intersection) to the Block office premises. As participants marched with the Tricolour in hand, the atmosphere resonated with the spirit of patriotism, fueled by the rhythmic marching and thunderous chants of 'Vande Mataram'. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, along with local residents and women, participated in the event with great enthusiasm.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahpur MLA Rakesh Ranjan Ojha stated that the Tricolour is not merely our national flag but a symbol of the country's unity, integrity, pride, and freedom. The MLA urged all citizens to respectfully hoist the Tricolour at their homes on the auspicious occasion of the upcoming Independence Day and to actively contribute to making the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' (Tricolour at Every Home) campaign a success.

Prominent figures present at the grand procession included BJP Town President Ankit Pandey, Vinay Mishra, Sanjay Pandey, Bunty Pandey, Ramadhar Swarnkar, Devakant Ojha, and Mohan Pandey, alongside BJP Mandal (block-level) presidents, booth presidents, various Panchayat representatives, and a large number of local dignitaries.
