RPF LAUNCH INVESTIGATION CAMPAIGN

BUXAR-------------------------In view of Independence Day, Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted an intensive investigation campaign regarding the security arrangements at Buxar Railway Station. Under the leadership of Inspector-in-charge Kundan Singh, sub-inspector Bijendra Muwal and dozens of RPF officers and armed forces personnel searched every nook and corner of the station premises and took stock of the security arrangements.

During the campaign, special surveillance was kept at various places including the entry and exit gates of the station, platform, waiting room, passenger complex. RPF personnel kept a close watch on passengers and suspicious activities. People who appeared suspicious were strictly interrogated, while unclaimed and suspicious items were also examined.

The RPF team also appealed to the passengers to be alert regarding security. Officials said that information about any suspicious person or object should be immediately reported to the security forces. Such campaigns have been conducted from time to time by RPF for the convenience and safety of passengers.

Inspector in-charge Kundan Singh said that in view of the Independence Day, this special campaign has been launched to further strengthen the security system. He said that intensive checking and monitoring campaign will continue at Buxar railway station and trains for the next few days.

He said that during the operation which lasted till late night, a comprehensive investigation was conducted in the station premises and security arrangements were reviewed. RPF is fully alert in view of the possibility of any untoward incident during Independence Day.
