POSTAL DEPARTMENT TOOK OUT TIRANGA YATRA
On the occasion of Independence Day, with the aim of spreading the feeling of national unity, integrity and patriotism to the people, a grand Tricolor Yatra was taken out in the city on Thursday by the Postal Board, Buxar. The yatra was led by Postal Superintendent Kumari Sarita.

BUXAR----------------------------On the occasion of Independence Day, with the aim of spreading the feeling of national unity, integrity and patriotism to the people, a grand Tricolor Yatra was taken out in the city on Thursday by the Postal Board, Buxar. The yatra was led by Postal Superintendent Kumari Sarita.
The Tricolor Yatra started from Buxar Head Post Office and passed through various major roads and markets of the city. Along with officers and employees of the Postal Department, students and teachers of schools also participated enthusiastically in the yatra. With the presence of children and postal workers holding the tricolor in their hands, the entire city was seen colored in the colors of patriotism. During this, the atmosphere kept resonating with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.
Through the Tiranga Yatra, people were made aware of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The Postal Department appealed to the citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes on Independence Day and strengthen the feeling of respect and pride towards the tricolor.
On this occasion, Assistant Postal Superintendent (Headquarters) Pushpendra Kumar, Complaint Inspector Aditya Raj, Postmaster of Buxar Head Post Office Prem Chand Kumar and officials and employees of the Postal Division and Post Office were present. The participation of school students and teachers made the journey more attractive.
While giving information about the public utility services of Postal Department, Postal Superintendent Kumari Sarita said that a special discount of 10 percent is being given on booking Rakhi in Rakhi Mail. He said that through the postal department, people can send Rakhi to their brothers and sisters in a safe and convenient manner.
He informed that Ganga water, national flag and Rakhi envelope are also being made available in post offices. 250 ml Ganga water is available for Rs 30, national flag for Rs 25 and Rakhi envelope for Rs 10.
The Postal Superintendent appealed to the citizens to actively participate in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and express their sense of respect and patriotism towards the nation by hoisting the Tricolor at their homes on the occasion of Independence Day. Through the Tricolor Yatra, the Postal Department gave the message of patriotism, national unity, integrity and public service and called for celebrating Independence Day with full enthusiasm and pride.
