BUXAR-------------------------Following the directives of the 'Bihar State University and College Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Struggle Front' (Sangharsh Morcha), college teachers and non-teaching staff staged a protest for the third consecutive day on Thursday as part of a phased agitation against the proposed University Act 2026.
Within the college campus, teachers and staff raised anti-government slogans opposing the proposed University Act 2026. The protest saw the participation of all teachers—led by Dr. Ravi Prabhat, Vice-President of the College Teachers' Association—and all non-teaching staff, accompanied by Shanti Kumari Devi, Secretary of the Non-Teaching Staff Association.
Protesters Expressing their objections to the proposed Act, the agitators demanded that the government make necessary amendments while keeping the interests of teaching and non-teaching staff in mind. They stated that the agitation would continue in a phased manner until a positive response regarding their demands is received.
