TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION EXPRESSED CONCERN OVER DEATH OF A TEACHER

ARA------------------------The Bhojpur District Committee of the Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association (Gop Group) expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family of Sagar Kumar, a teacher who died in a road accident.

Sagar Kumar, a teacher posted at High School Koilwar, met with an accident on August 6 while returning from school towards Ara; he was struck by a truck near the Kulharia Toll Plaza. With the help of teachers and others who arrived at the scene, he was rushed to Sadar Hospital, Ara, where doctors referred him to Patna due to his critical condition. He passed away the following day while undergoing treatment. According to eyewitnesses, a truck rammed into their motorcycle, leaving both the rider—Sharda Sharan Pandey, a teacher at Middle School (Boys) Koilwar—and Sagar Kumar severely injured. Sharda Sharan Pandey is out of danger and is currently undergoing treatment.

Led by Krishna Singh 'Vimal', the District President of the Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association (Gop Group), members of the organization visited the deceased teacher's village, Kulharia. They met the grieving family to offer their condolences and assured them of their full support. Tragically, Sagar had been married only about two years ago. The household is plunged into mourning, with his father Suryanath Singh, elderly mother, two brothers (Madhukar and Dinkar), and wife Anjali Kumari inconsolable. His wife, Anjali Kumari—a teacher at Primary School Behra, Ara Muffassil—is devastated by grief. The entire teaching community, along with the residents of Kulharia village, is deeply saddened and shaken by this tragedy.

Those present to offer condolences to the bereaved family included Krishna Singh 'Vimal' (District President, Bihar State Primary Teachers' Association - Gop Group), Rajaram Singh 'Priyadarshi' (Honored President), Manoj Kumar Kiran, Kedarnath Singh, Manoj Kumar Singh, Arvind Kumar, Mantu Kumar, Ram Manohar Pandey, Ashish Kumar, retired teachers Ram Kumar Singh and Nikhil Abhishek Kumar, and Koilwar Deputy Chief (Up-Pramukh) Rajpal Singh.
