PRAGYALAYA BUILDING INAUGURATED

BUXAR--------------------The 'Pragyalaya' building and the auditorium at D.K. College, Dumraon, were grandly inaugurated on Thursday. The chief guest, Prof. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi, Vice-Chancellor of Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara, formally inaugurated both buildings. Rahul Kumar Singh, the JD(U) MLA from the Dumraon assembly constituency, was present as the guest of honor.

Attendees included the university's former Registrar Prof. Dhirendra Kumar Singh, MV College Buxar Principal Prof. K.K. Singh, Sumitra Mahila Mahavidyalaya Principal Dr. Shobha Singh, and university Senate member Prof. Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, alongside college faculty, non-teaching staff, and other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi remarked that talented students from Bihar are making significant contributions to the development of various institutions across the country. He emphasized that providing a superior academic environment and necessary resources to students should be a priority for higher education institutions. The Pragyalaya building and auditorium will provide students with better facilities for study, academic activities, and various events.

MLA Rahul Kumar Singh stated that the development of infrastructure in the education sector is crucial for the future of society and the region. Describing the construction of the new buildings at D.K. College as a significant step in the students' interest, he assured his full support for the college's development.

Meanwhile, Senate member Prof. Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh noted that the Pragyalaya building and auditorium would prove instrumental in giving a new direction to the college's academic activities. He added that access to modern facilities would offer students better opportunities to hone their talents.

During the event, the college community welcomed the guests. There was an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the teachers and students regarding the inauguration of the new buildings.
