He has also alleged that he was threatened.

BUXAR----------------------------BJP leader Durgesh Upadhyay 'Vidrohi'—who was allegedly caught in an inebriated state on June 27—has filed a defamation suit in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) against three police personnel, including the Town Station House Officer (SHO). He alleges that, as part of a pre-planned conspiracy, he was detained in the lock-up, photographed, and the image was circulated on social media, thereby damaging his social and political reputation. He has also alleged that he was threatened.
Durgesh Upadhyay 'Vidrohi' stated that the entire action taken against him was malicious. He claims that this incident has caused serious harm to his reputation. Expressing faith in the judiciary, he stated that he hopes to receive justice from the court.
Meanwhile, the Town SHO has categorically denied all the allegations leveled against him. They maintain that the police acted in accordance with the provisions of the law and that the allegations of conspiracy or intimidation are completely baseless. They stated that the matter is sub judice and that they will present their case before the court based on facts and evidence.
With a defamation suit filed in this matter, all eyes are now fixed on the upcoming court hearing.
