ARA--------------------------The body of a young man was found hanging from the ventilator above the door frame inside a room in Shanti Nagar, Judge Bazaar, within the Bihiya police station area. A crowd of locals gathered upon learning of the incident and were left stunned by the scene. Police arrived at the location, took custody of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. An FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team also visited the site to collect evidence. Preliminary observations suggest the incident was a suicide; however, the police are investigating all aspects of the case. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Sinha (35), son of the late Jitendra Sinha, a resident of the Gupta Mandi area near Raja Bazar on the Main Road of Bihiya Nagar Panchayat. Krishna was a vendor who used to travel around selling items such as Kurkure, biscuits, and chocolates to various shops. The incident has left the family devastated; his mother, Kamalvati Devi, is inconsolable.

According to family members, Krishna had been living apart from his wife for some time, a situation that caused him mental stress. His mother mentioned that he had been troubled over the past few days but had not shared the details of his distress with the family. Krishna lived in a rented house separate from his family, who resided about 500 meters away.

It is reported that suspicion arose on Friday when there was no movement from his room for an extended period. Upon checking the room, Krishna's body was found hanging from the ventilator. The door was locked from the inside, and a chair was found overturned beneath the body. The police inspected the scene, collected evidence from the room and surrounding areas, and gathered information from the family.

Krishna was the eldest of two brothers and had four sisters; his father had passed away earlier. The police handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem examination. An investigation into the cause of death is currently underway. While reports suggest he was under stress due to estrangement from his wife, the actual cause of death will only be confirmed after the investigation concludes.

Station House Officer (SHO) Sundeshwar Kumar Das stated that the room door was locked. The young man was found hanging with his neck caught in the ventilator, and a chair was lying overturned beneath him. The police are awaiting a formal complaint from the family; further action will be taken once the complaint is received.
