SDM SEALELD THE PREMISES OF PARAMEDICAL INSTITUTE

BUXAR-----------------------------The district administration took strict action against "Pal Paramedical Institute and AD Group of Education"—located on the main road near the Itadhi Block Office—and sealed the premises. Sadar SDM Avinash Kumar led a raiding team to execute this action based on complaints of fraudulent activities and issued directives to Health Department officials to conduct a detailed investigation.

It is reported that this institute has been embroiled in controversies in the past as well. Approximately two years ago, students hailing from various districts across UP and Bihar—including Nalanda, Gaya, and Sasaram—staged a massive protest, accusing the institute's proprietor, Dhanji Pal, of defrauding them of lakhs of rupees under the pretext of securing academic degrees for them. At that time, the matter had also grabbed headlines in the media. It is alleged that following the initial crackdown, the proprietor went into hiding for a while; however, as soon as the controversy subsided, he allegedly resumed the same illicit operations.

Local residents claim that the institute had been involved in suspicious activities for a considerable period; yet, despite this, no concrete action had been taken against it until now. The proprietor, Dhanji Pal, prefixes the title "Doctor" to his name, identifies himself as the institute's Director, and used to lure young aspirants with false promises of securing jobs for them within the Health Department.

It is alleged that the institute claimed to facilitate the issuance of certificates for various courses, including ANM, GNM, DMLT, B.Sc Nursing, D.Pharma, B.Pharma, Dresser, BPT, CMS ED, BAMS, BHMS, and BDS. Furthermore, the institute was actively promoting and advertising the provision of MBBS and MD degrees from countries such as Russia, Ukraine, and Nepal—campaigns for which posters and banners had been prominently displayed across the Itadhi market area.

Sadar SDM Avinash Kumar stated that a special drive against illegal educational institutions is currently underway across the district. In furtherance of this initiative, action was taken in Itadhi to seal the institute, and orders have been issued for a thorough investigation into the entire matter. This decisive action by the administration has created a stir throughout the locality.
