PATNA---------------------------During a significant event held in Patna, a pivotal initiative was undertaken to provide fresh momentum to the state's industrial development, technological innovation, and the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. On this occasion, the Technology Center in Bihta (Patna) was jointly inaugurated by Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and the Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, Jitan Ram Manjhi. Additionally, the extension centers developed in Muzaffarpur, Rohtas, Darbhanga, and Munger were also launched. Furthermore, a Special Vendor Development Program was launched under the National SC/ST Hub—a significant step toward integrating entrepreneurs from marginalized sections into the economic mainstream.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary stated that Bihar is rapidly advancing toward industrial progress, and this Technology Center stands as a powerful symbol of that transformation. The state government aims to provide the youth with superior skills, modern resources, and a conducive environment, enabling them not only to secure employment opportunities but also to become job creators themselves. By furthering the vision of 'Make in Bihar,' this center will elevate investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship to new heights. This Technology Center in Bihta is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. It will bolster the engineering and manufacturing sectors, as well as Bihar's traditional economy, while simultaneously generating employment opportunities for a large number of the state's youth.

Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi remarked that today marks the addition of a significant chapter in the history of Bihar's industrial development. The Technology Center established in Bihta—along with its extension centers—will not only impart modern technical training but will also serve to empower local youth and entrepreneurs, thereby connecting them to national and global markets. This initiative represents a concrete step toward realizing the vision of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India) at the grassroots level. During the program, toolkits were distributed to beneficiaries of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and the Gramodyog Vikas Yojana; checks were distributed to beneficiaries of the PMEGP scheme; and certificates were presented to beneficiaries of the SC/ST Hub Scheme—initiatives designed to foster self-employment and entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.

Gracing the occasion with their distinguished presence were public representatives including Naval Kishore Yadav (Member of the Legislative Council), Deepak Kumari (MLA, Imamganj), Romit Kumar Singh (MLA, Atri), and Lalan Manjhi (MLA, Kutumba).

Sharing the dais with them were other dignitaries: Pratyaya Amrit (Chief Secretary, Bihar); Kundan Kumar (Secretary, Department of Industries); Dr. Rajneesh (Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, MSME); Kumar Ravi (Secretary, Chief Minister's Secretariat); and Kundan Krishnan (Director General of Police—Operations, Bihar).

Through such initiatives, the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, is continuously striving to strengthen the state's industrial ecosystem, attract investment, and ensure large-scale job creation. This event has emerged as a concrete and decisive step toward a developed, self-reliant, and industrially empowered future for Bihar.
