IF INSTRUCTED, AI WOULD INSTANTLY IDENTIFY THOSE WEARING GREEN GAMCHHA: CM

PATNA------------------------Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary is a seasoned player when it comes to political banter. During the inaugural session of an AI Summit held in the capital, Patna, he made a remark that elicited varied reactions: some people laughed, others turned serious, and a few even applauded.

Citing the example of those who sport green *gamchas* (traditional scarves), he remarked that if AI were given the command just once, it would instantly identify everyone wearing a green *gamcha*. Subsequently, the CM offered a clarification, stating that his remarks were not directed at any specific individual or particular person. He noted that members of the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) typically use green *gamchas*, though these days, caps seem to be taking their place.

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary attended the AI ​​Summit organized by the Department of Information Technology at the Urja Bhawan in the capital, Patna. He formally inaugurated the session. Departmental Minister Nitish Mishra was also present on this occasion. During the event, the CM lauded the pivotal role played by AI.

He pointed out that approximately 4,000 AI-enabled cameras have been installed across Patna. He then posed a rhetorical question: "What would happen if AI were instructed—just once—to search for those wearing green *gamchas*?" He asserted that the system would take immediate action and identify everyone wearing a green *gamcha*. The CM was smiling as he made these remarks, and the audience clearly understood exactly whom his comments were aimed at.
