FIGHT FOR THE HONOUR, SELF-RESPECT AND RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE OF TAR PANCHAYAT: BHAI DINESH
The 'Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan' (Panchayat Government Building) in Pilua Tola of Tar Panchayat must be constructed at the very site previously approved—the location where, three years ago, the district administration selected the land, the department issued tenders, and construction work had actually commenced. Today, a large number of villagers—women, men, youth, and children—are staging a sit-in protest over this very demand. This public participation stands as a commendable example of upholding democratic rights.

ARA--------------------------The 'Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan' (Panchayat Government Building) in Pilua Tola of Tar Panchayat must be constructed at the very site previously approved—the location where, three years ago, the district administration selected the land, the department issued tenders, and construction work had actually commenced. Today, a large number of villagers—women, men, youth, and children—are staging a sit-in protest over this very demand. This public participation stands as a commendable example of upholding democratic rights.
The question arises: when the site was selected three years ago by the District Magistrate of Bhojpur, the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Piro, and the Circle Officer (CO) of Piro—and when the department had duly issued tenders and construction had begun—there were no objections raised. So, under whose pressure was the work halted after it had already started?
If the villagers of Pilua Tola had not desired the building at this location, why wasn't an objection lodged three years ago? Halting development work after construction had already begun is an injustice to the sentiments, honor, and trust of the villagers.
The villagers have issued a clear warning: if construction work is not resumed immediately, the agitation will be intensified in a phased manner. The first phase—the sit-in protest—has already begun. The second phase will involve a sit-in before the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Piro. If construction still does not commence thereafter, an indefinite sit-in protest will be held outside the office of the District Magistrate of Bhojpur.
This is not merely a fight for a Panchayat Government Building; it is a fight for the honor, self-respect, and rights of the rural populace. To safeguard their rights, villagers have begun collecting rice, potatoes, and financial contributions from every household—a gesture that symbolizes the unity and resolve of this people's movement.
Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the vigilant people of Tar Panchayat—the mothers, sisters, youth, and all villagers—for this democratic struggle.
