BUXAR-----------------------------Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor, dubbed Bihar’s political Chanakya, declared that his party will emerge as a formidable force in the 2025 assembly elections, locking horns directly with the NDA while relegating the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan to a distant third, as he addressed a charged press conference at Bhojpur Kothi.
On June 11, 2025, Kishor lambasted the Nitish Kumar-led government for failing to curb unemployment and migration, pressing issues that have plagued Bihar for decades. “The people of Bihar gave the RJD and NDA nearly four decades, yet neither provided jobs nor alternative livelihoods for our youth, fueling rampant migration,” he said. Kishor argued that voters are shifting focus from caste and community divides to development, spelling trouble for the RJD. “The public is done with caste-based politics. They’ll teach a lesson to those who peddle it,” he asserted, predicting a major electoral setback for the RJD.
Kishor highlighted ongoing migration as proof of the government’s failure. “Our resolve is to halt migration and ensure jobs in villages, but without education, healthcare, and industries in rural areas, this won’t stop,” he said. Positioning Jan Suraaj as the sole solution, he added, “This party was founded to tackle Bihar’s burning issues head-on and deliver solutions.”
Earlier, Kishor received a rousing welcome at Bhojpur Kothi (Maharaja Kothi), led by royal family members Chandr Vijay Singh and Shivang Vijay Singh. Adorned with garlands and honored with traditional attire, he was greeted by thousands who thronged the venue. Visibly moved, Kishor said, “This massive crowd in scorching heat signals a wave of change. It’s proof that Bihar’s people are ready for transformation.” He called the outpouring of support a “political breeze” heralding Jan Suraaj as the vehicle for Bihar’s quest for an alternative.
Kishor’s bold claims and the fervent reception in Dumraon underscore Jan Suraaj’s growing traction, setting the stage for a fierce electoral battle in Bihar.
