Action Warned Against Training Lapses as NCC Cadets Promote Road Safety
Road Safety Month: Driving Schools Put on Notice, Awareness Rally Held
Fpj Budaun (RNI) During National Road Safety Month, the Transport Department warned driving training schools against irregularities and intensified public awareness efforts. Assistant Regional Transport Officer Hari Om directed operators of all six private driving schools to strictly follow training norms and maintain valid vehicle documents, cautioning that violations would invite action.
At the same time, NCC cadets organised a road safety awareness rally from Das Degree College. Students were advised to wear helmets and seat belts, avoid mobile phone use while driving, and refrain from overspeeding and wrong-side driving. A road safety pledge was administered and information on the Rahveer Scheme was shared. Officials from the Transport Department, traffic police and college staff were present.
