UP: Badaun Police Launch Special Drive to Identify Illegal Foreign Residents
Badaun (RNI) Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district conducted a special verification drive to identify Rohingya, Bangladeshi and other non-resident individuals allegedly staying illegally in the area. The operation was carried out in the Bada Sarkar and Chhote Sarkar localities under the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Brijesh Kumar Singh.
The drive was supervised by Additional Superintendent of Police Vijendra Dwivedi. During the operation, identity documents of suspected persons were checked. Individuals found without valid identification were advised and directed to proceed to their respective destinations.
The campaign was conducted in the presence of City Magistrate Suresh Pal, City Circle Officer Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay, LIU officials and local police personnel. Authorities stated that such verification drives will continue across the district to ensure law and order and prevent illegal stay.
