A farewell ceremony was organized on Saturday at the PG Geography Department of Maharaja College to honor the students. The event, themed "Sawan ke Sawan, Yaadon ki Boondein" (Monsoon Rains, Droplets of Memories), was inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp by Principal Prof. Kanak Lata Kumari, Chief Guest and University Head of the Geography Department Prof. Sanjay Kumar, and Head of Department Dr. Deepika Shekhar Singh. Addressing the students, Prof. Sanjay Kumar emphasized that patience, honesty, and hard work are essential for success in life.

Principal Prof. Kanak Lata Kumari advised the students to incorporate the knowledge and values they had acquired into their lives. Students garnered thunderous applause with their song, dance, and drama performances. August Kumar was named 'Mr. Farewell,' and Khushi Mishra was named 'Miss Farewell.' A farewell song created an emotional atmosphere. Mementos were presented to the students of the 2024-26 session, and wishes were extended for their bright futures. The program concluded with a group photograph.
