ARA----------------------------Munna Dubey (60) died after being struck by a speeding trailer truck near Bilauti village on the Ara-Buxar four-lane NH-922 on Friday afternoon. The deceased was a resident of Ojha Baraon village under the Krishnabrahm police station area in Buxar district. Following the accident, the trailer driver fled the scene with the vehicle.

According to reports, Munna Dubey worked at the 'Maa Vindhyavasini' fertilizer shop in Ara. On Friday, he was returning to Ara on his motorcycle after collecting payments from various shops. Near Bilauti, a speeding trailer approaching from behind rammed into his motorcycle. The impact was so severe that Munna Dubey died on the spot.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Shahpur police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and initiated further proceedings. The police are making efforts to identify and arrest the absconding trailer and its driver. Meanwhile, following the accident, agitated villagers blocked the Ara-Buxar four-lane highway, demanding compensation and raising other issues. Long queues of vehicles formed on both sides of the road, completely disrupting traffic. Police and administrative officials are attempting to persuade the villagers to clear the blockade.
