BUXAR---------------------------A grand celebration marking the birth of Lord Shri Ram took place on the fourth day of the nine-day Shri Ram Katha (narrative) being held at the Shri Rameshwar Temple premises under the aegis of the Jaybhole Group and the Panda community of Buxar. Renowned narrator Premacharya Pitambar Ji Maharaj narrated the story of Lord Shri Ram’s divine appearance to the devotees.
The entire atmosphere was filled with devotion and jubilation during the recounting of the episode of Lord Shri Ram's birth. Devotees were moved to ecstasy and began to sway to the renditions of *Mangalgeet* (auspicious songs) and *Sohar* (traditional songs celebrating childbirth). During the narration, Premacharya Pitambar Ji Maharaj described various events surrounding Lord Shri Ram's birth and highlighted the message of his ideal life and the establishment of *Dharma* (righteousness).
He mentioned that King Dasharatha had resolved to perform a *Yajna* (ritual sacrifice) with the desire to beget a son. Following the successful completion of the *Yajna* in accordance with scriptural rites, the four brothers, including Lord Shri Ram, were born. The narrator stated that the life of Shri Ram serves as an inspiration for *Dharma*, *Maryada* (propriety/righteous conduct), sacrifice, and virtuous living.
Premacharya Pitambar Ji Maharaj also imparted practical values Conveying a message, he stated that one should think twice before visiting a place uninvited if there is a risk of disrespect towards one's loved ones, revered deities, or spiritual mentors. He emphasized the importance of instilling devotion, traditional values, and virtuous conduct in the new generation from childhood.
He remarked that childhood is akin to soft clay; the values instilled in children during this formative period become the foundation of their future personalities. Therefore, the seeds of spirituality, culture, moral values, and good conduct should be sown in children from an early age.
A large number of devotees attended the discourse and celebrated the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram amidst an atmosphere filled with devotion.
