Sahaswan Mandhi Secretary Prabhat Yadav Seizes Mentha Truck, Sends Sample for Testing,Firm Deposits Rs 5.46 Lakh Bail Amount to Release Seized Goods

Budaun (RNI) : On Wednesday, Mandhi Committee Secretary Prabhat Yadav stopped a mentha truck in Sahaswan for inspection, which was carrying around 30 quintals of mentha crystal. The trader claimed it was synthetic mentha, but the Mandhi Committee Secretary suspected it was natural mentha production.

Sample Sent for Testing

The Mandhi Committee Sahaswan has sent the sample for testing to Mangalore Lab. The test report is expected in around 15 days. The seized goods have been released after the firm, Jem Aromatics Limited, deposited a bail amount of Rs 5,46,000.

The Mandhi Committee Sahaswan Secretary Prabhat Yadav stated that the sample was taken for testing, and further action will be taken based on the test report. If the goods are found to be synthetic mentha, action will be taken against the firm.
