PATNA------------------------The atmosphere in Bihar is once again heating up over Rabri Devi's residence at 10 Circular Road. The 15-day deadline set by the Building Construction Department for vacating the house has expired, yet Rabri Devi has not moved out. Amidst this, she has written a letter to the Bihar government explaining the reasons for not vacating the premises.

According to reports, in the letter, Rabri Devi cites the health issues of RJD supremo and former Bihar CM Lalu Yadav, noting that doctors have advised him to exercise extreme caution. Doctors have warned of a persistent risk of infection for Lalu Yadav; consequently, special room arrangements were made for him at the 10 Circular Road residence.

Rabri Devi has also requested the Bihar government to replicate the arrangements found at the 10 Circular Road residence in the new bungalow (39 Harding Road) allotted to her by the Building Construction Department. She has appealed for similar special room facilities for Lalu Yadav at the 39 Harding Road residence. She further stated that she would shift to the government residence at 39 Harding Road once the renovation work is completed.

It is worth noting that despite repeated notices from the Bihar government and the Building Construction Department, Rabri Devi shows no inclination to vacate the 10 Circular Road residence. Meanwhile, the 15-day grace period granted by the administration and the government for vacating the bungalow has also lapsed. The bungalow has been allotted to Nand Kishore Ram, a Dalit minister in the Bihar government, prompting the administration and the department to pressure Rabri Devi to vacate it. Rabri Devi has, in turn, been allotted the bungalow at 39 Harding Road.
