BATTERY STOLEN FROM A VEHICLE

BHABHUA--------------------------A case of battery theft by unidentified thieves from a 'Magic' pickup vehicle parked within the Suhagan Vatika premises—located under the jurisdiction of the Kudra police station—has come to light. The vehicle owner has submitted a formal complaint to the Kudra police station, demanding action regarding the incident.

According to the information received, the vehicle owner, Babban Gupta, stated that his 'Magic' pickup (Registration No. UP39UB5719) had been parked at the Suhagan Vatika premises on Sunday. On Monday, when he arrived to retrieve the vehicle and attempted to start it around 4:00 PM, the engine failed to turn over.

After several failed attempts, he inspected the vehicle and discovered that the lock on the battery box had been broken and the battery stolen by unknown thieves. He searched the surrounding area extensively but could not locate the battery. Consequently, he visited the Kudra police station and submitted a written complaint to inform the police about the incident.

It is reported that a large number of vehicles are parked daily at the Suhagan Vatika premises. This incident of theft has raised concerns among vehicle owners regarding the security of their vehicles. Locals state that there is a need to enhance security arrangements and surveillance in the area during the night to curb such incidents.

The Kudra police have received the complaint and initiated an investigation; efforts are underway to identify the unknown thieves. The police stated that they would also examine nearby CCTV footage to track down those involved in the theft.
