ARA-----------------------------On Saturday afternoon, a speeding, out-of-control tractor ran over a young man riding a 'Bullet' motorcycle near the Dularpur railway crossing, located within the Udwantnagar police station area on the Ara-Sasaram State Highway. The victim succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment in the emergency ward of Sadar Hospital. The incident caused panic and chaos in the area. The tractor driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle.
The deceased has been identified as Sushant Singh (alias Chhotu Kumar Singh), the 20-year-old son of Sachitanand Singh, a resident of Ganghar village under the Mufassil police station area. He was a third-year B.A. student.
Family members stated that he was traveling to Dularpur on his 'Bullet' motorcycle for some work on Saturday afternoon. Near the Dularpur railway crossing, an out-of-control tractor approaching from behind struck him forcefully, leaving him critically injured. His family rushed him to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where he passed away. Subsequently, the Town Police arrived at the scene and arranged for a post-mortem examination of the body.
