ARA----------------------------On Friday, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary launched a fleet of 4,700 scooters and motorcycles on a large scale for the 'Police Didi' (Abhaya Brigade) initiative, aiming to further strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the state's policing system.
Under this ambitious state-wide campaign, 20 scooters and 15 motorcycles (totaling 35 vehicles) allocated to the Bhojpur Police's Abhaya Brigade were formally launched on Friday, August 28, from the New Police Centre under the leadership of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Reserve).
The Abhaya Brigade is a special initiative involving female police personnel; its objective is to ensure the safety of women and girls at schools, colleges, markets, and other public places, facilitate the prompt redressal of grievances, and create a secure environment in public areas.
