POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT

BHABHUA------------------Significant news has emerged from Mohania in the district regarding the arrest of an accused involved in a case where a CSP (Customer Service Point) operator was shot and robbed of approximately ₹3 lakh, a laptop, and other items within the Fesar police station area of ​​Aurangabad. The arrested individual has been identified as Pankaj Kumar, son of Madan Kumar, a resident of Akodhi Mela village under the Akodhigola police station area of ​​Aurangabad district. The police have also recovered the motorcycle allegedly used in the robbery from his possession. According to reports, the incident occurred in the morning between Badhai Bigha and Pirauta villages in the Fesar police station area, where bike-borne criminals overtook and intercepted CSP operator Pradeep Kumar. The criminals then assaulted and shot him before looting the cash, laptop, and other belongings. The injured operator was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, the Aurangabad police treated the matter seriously and launched continuous raids to apprehend the accused. During this operation, the police received information that one of the accused involved in the robbery had arrived in Mohania on a motorcycle. Acting on this information and under the SP's instructions, a joint team comprising personnel from Mohania police station, Kudra police station, and the DIU (District Intelligence Unit) was formed. The joint team set up a blockade near Patna Mor in Mohania and arrested the suspect.

According to the police, the motorcycle used in the crime was recovered from the accused during the search. After the arrest, the Aurangabad police took the accused into custody; he is currently undergoing interrogation and facing further legal proceedings. Mohania Station House Officer (SHO) Alok Kumar confirmed over the phone that an accused involved in the Aurangabad shooting and robbery case was apprehended at Patna Mor in Mohania and subsequently taken into custody by the Aurangabad police.
