BHABHUA--------------------------Dilip Kumar Yadav, an accused named in the FIR regarding the murder of Army soldier Shatrudhan Yadav, surrendered at the Mohania court on Saturday, September 26, following sustained police pressure. According to the police, Dilip Kumar Yadav—son of Mithilesh Yadav, a resident of Kharika (Rajpur Police Station, Buxar district) and currently residing in Ramgarh—was named as an accused in Ramgarh Police Station Case No. 258/26, dated September 9, 2026. It was reported that on September 9, Army soldier Shatrudhan Yadav, a resident of Sahuka (Ramgarh Police Station), was set ablaze after petrol was poured on him; he subsequently passed away during treatment. Following the incident, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Mohania was constituted to arrest the accused. The SIT conducted continuous raids at the accused's suspected hideouts. Additionally, a legal notice (proclamation) was pasted at his residence on September 25. Faced with persistent police action and pressure, Dilip Yadav finally surrendered at the Mohania court.
