CONGMEN TOOK OUT PROTEST MARCH

ARA-------------------Under the leadership of Bhojpur District Congress Committee President Dr. Sridhar Tiwari, a protest march was held against the Modi government, followed by the burning of effigies of Modi, Amit Shah, and Dharmendra Pradhan. This protest was organized to condemn the arrest of prominent leaders—Rahul Gandhi (Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha) and Honorable Smt. Priyanka Gandhi (Congress General Secretary and MP)—by the "dictatorial and anti-youth" Modi government. They had been detained while protesting outside the Prime Minister's residence to demand the resignations of Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and to call for a parliamentary discussion on burning issues such as the lathi-charge on students, paper leaks, and widespread irregularities in the NEET examination. Hundreds of Congress workers and senior leaders participated in the event. District President Dr. Sridhar Tiwari stated that the Modi government ruling at the Centre is hostile towards students, the youth, and farmers. Since the Modi government took office, question papers for approximately 152 examinations have been leaked. While our leaders are championing the cause of students across the country, the "boastful" Modi government is resorting to lathi-charges against them. The government has failed to meet the students' demands for timely examinations and results; instead, paper leaks have become the norm, inflicting a heavy financial burden on students and youth from poor, farming, and middle-class backgrounds. The Congress party demands the immediate resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and insists on a parliamentary debate regarding the examination irregularities and systemic failures that have jeopardized the futures of lakhs of students. Furthermore, the party demands the immediate withdrawal of all FIRs and criminal cases registered against students and peaceful protesters during the demonstrations in New Delhi, and insists on assurances that all future examinations will be conducted on schedule and results declared without any paper leaks.
