RAGHUNATHPUR-BALIA RAIL LINE PROJECT GAINS NEW MOMENTUM

BUXAR--------------------------The long-standing demand within the region regarding the Raghunathpur–Ballia rail line project has now begun to garner support from elected representatives. Acting upon the request of Shailesh Ojha—a social activist and the convener of the 'Raghunathpur Tulsi Vichar Manch' in the district—Rahul Singh, the JDU MLA from Dumraon, has forwarded a proposal for the Raghunathpur–Ballia rail line project to the Ministry of Railways. This initiative by the MLA is being hailed as a significant step toward the development of the region.

Expressing his gratitude to MLA Rahul Singh, Shailesh Ojha stated that this step—taken with a keen understanding of the region's public sentiments, commercial potential, and developmental imperatives—is a visionary initiative undertaken in the public interest. He added that the consistent public support and the active engagement of elected representatives clearly demonstrate that the Raghunathpur–Ballia rail line has now become an indispensable necessity for the region.

He expressed confidence that this long-awaited project would soon materialize on the ground. According to him, this rail line will serve not merely as a mode of transportation, but will prove to be a pivotal axis for the economic and social development of the border areas. It is expected to provide a fresh impetus to trade, tourism, employment, education, and regional connectivity.

Shailesh Ojha also appealed to other elected representatives of the region to rise above political considerations and extend their unequivocal support to this crucial issue. Furthermore, he expressed hope that the Ministry of Railways, respecting the sentiments of the public, would soon take a positive decision regarding this project.
