ARA---------------------------Amidst the panic caused by rumors of a cooking gas shortage, Piro Sub-Divisional Officer Krishna Kumar Upadhyay assured the public that there is no shortage of cooking gas. Appealing for patience, he stated that the supply of cooking gas is still adequate, as before. All genuine consumers will be provided cooking gas as per the regulations. In his appeal, he stated that for the past two to three days, many people have been flocking to the gas agency office to purchase domestic gas cylinders. There is a situation of congestion and people are even resorting to arguments. However, there is no shortage of gas. Gas is being delivered to those whose numbers are received through OTP. In many cases, some people are trying to take away gas from the hawkers by threatening them. This is completely illegal, and strict action will be taken against such individuals by filing an FIR against them. The Sub-Divisional Officer, Piro, stated that there is no gas shortage, but due to changes in regulations over the past four days, a gas cylinder will be delivered every 25 days. For this purpose, those who have completed their e-KYC receive an OTP upon booking. Upon entering the OTP and confirming the booking, an invoice is generated for cylinder delivery. Many people, under the old system, are receiving missed calls and not checking the OTP, assuming their booking is complete. Therefore, all 24,000 Indane customers and all Hindustan Petroleum customers in Piro are being advised not to visit the gas agency office. After booking, the gas cylinder will be delivered to your home. There is no need to go to the gas agency office unnecessarily, queuing, and crowding, creating law and order problems. There is no shortage of gas cylinders. Previously, Indane used to distribute 300 gas cylinders per day, and no one faced any problems. Currently, 450 Indane gas cylinders are arriving daily. There is no possibility of anyone experiencing a gas cylinder shortage while operating as usual. All consumers will receive gas cylinders on time, provided bookings are not made within 25 days. Therefore, all consumers are requested to be patient and wait for their turn, as cylinders will surely be delivered to their homes.
