RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA------------------------Police are taking continuous action regarding the dispute over the illegal occupation of land in Rampur Sanadiya village (under Mufassil Police Station limits); in this ongoing process, two more key accused have been arrested. The arrested individuals have been identified as Chhotu Yadav (son of the late Jawahar Yadav), a resident of Ibrahim Nagar under the Town Police Station area, and Raja Sah, alias Sumit Sagar (son of Hareram Prasad), a resident of Saraiya village under the Krishnagarh Police Station area.

According to a press release issued by SP Raj, both were named accused and were arrested by a police team from their respective homes late Tuesday night. With this latest action, a total of 11 accused have now been taken into police custody.

It is worth noting that last Wednesday, a dispute between two factions over an attempt to seize land in Rampur Sanadiya village escalated significantly, resulting in a violent clash and incidents of gunfire at the scene. The severity of the situation is evident from the fact that the miscreants had the audacity to threaten the police team that arrived at the spot.

Based on the police's statement, an FIR was registered against a total of 36 named individuals and approximately 250 unidentified persons from both sides. The investigation has revealed that the named accused allegedly include members associated with the 'B Company' and 'Dhruv Brand' groups. Additionally, the names of certain prominent city contractors and land mafias have surfaced in connection with the case; the police are continuously conducting raids at suspected hideouts to apprehend the remaining accused.
