Union Minister BL Verma Approves Timetable; Same-Day Return Journey Planned

RNI Budaun (RNI) In a significant boost to regional connectivity, a direct train service between Budaun and Delhi is set to commence from the first week of April, Union Minister of State BL Verma announced.

The minister stated that the train will depart from Budaun between 10:00 am and 10:30 am and reach Delhi the same day. The return journey will begin around 4:00 pm from Delhi, with the train expected to arrive back in Budaun by approximately 10:00 pm.

Verma revealed that railway officials had recently met him to seek approval for the proposed timetable, which has now been cleared. He noted that due to the ongoing academic session in March, operations will begin in early April.

The announcement was made during an event marking the martyrdom day of freedom fighter Veerangana Avantibai Lodhi at a hostel in Nekpur locality. On the occasion, the minister paid floral tributes to her statue and interacted with students residing at the hostel, offering guidance on preparation for competitive examinations.

He also reviewed the facilities available to students and informed that the ring road project in Budaun is progressing steadily, with the Detailed Project Report (DPR) expected to be completed soon.
