TREE PLANTATION DRIVE LAUNCHED

ARA-------------------------As part of the ongoing 'Mega Environmental Campaign' aimed at promoting environmental conservation and greenery, a tree plantation program was organized on Thursday at the Health and Wellness Center (Sub-Health Center) premises in Gaziyapur, within the Barhara block.

During the event, Raju Kumar, the SHO of Sinha Police Station, joined health workers to plant saplings of various species. He urged the public to actively participate in environmental conservation by planting as many trees as possible.

Speaking on the occasion, the SHO noted that rising pollution, climate change, and the shrinking green cover have become serious challenges to human life. In this context, tree plantation stands out as the simplest and most effective measure to safeguard the environment.

He emphasized that every individual should plant at least one sapling in their lifetime and take responsibility for its regular care. He added that trees not only provide us with fresh air, oxygen, and shade but also play a crucial role in maintaining the natural balance.

Health center staff present at the event also participated in the plantation drive with great enthusiasm and pledged to protect the environment. They remarked that a clean, green, and pollution-free environment is the foundation of good health; therefore, every citizen should step forward to plant trees and ensure their protection.

Following the plantation, everyone present reaffirmed their commitment to raising awareness about environmental conservation. Speakers noted that if every individual planted at least one sapling annually and nurtured it until it grew into a tree, future generations would inherit a clean, safe, and lush green environment.

Local villagers praised this joint initiative by the police and health departments, describing it as highly inspiring for society.
