BUXAR--------------------------A protest was held on Thursday at Veer Kunwar Singh Chowk under the banner of the District Divyang Sangh (District Association for the Differently-Abled), where an effigy of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was burned. Describing the NEET paper leak incident as an injustice against the future of lakhs of students across the country, the protesters demanded strict action against the guilty and called for the Union Education Minister's resignation on moral grounds.

The event was led by Jitendra Thakur, District President of the District Divyang Sangh. He stated that incidents like the NEET paper leak have raised serious questions regarding the credibility of the nation's education system. He alleged that the Union Education Minister bears moral responsibility for this entire episode and should, therefore, immediately resign from his post.

Jitendra Thakur affirmed that the students' agitation is entirely justified and that the District Divyang Sangh stands shoulder-to-shoulder with them in their struggle. They demanded that the government conduct a fair and time-bound investigation into all paper leak cases and impose strict punishment on the guilty, ensuring that no student's dreams are jeopardized in the future. They also called for effective measures to make the examination system completely transparent and secure.

During the protest, demonstrators raised slogans demanding improvements in the education system, the protection of students' interests, and stern action against those responsible for the paper leaks.

Prominent figures present on the occasion included Pramod Kesari, Dilip Ram, Abhay Paswan, Pappu Jaiswal, Prince Idrisi, Vinod Ji, Munna Bhaiya, and Harishankar, alongside numerous office-bearers and members of the District Divyang Sangh (Association for the Differently-Abled) and local citizens.
