ARA--------------------------A grand Tiranga Yatra was held in Arrah under the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. On the occasion of Independence Day, August 14, 2026, a grand Tiranga Yatra was organized at the district headquarters, Arrah, under the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. Organized under the leadership of the Honorable Minister in Charge, Labor Resources and Migrant Workers, Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department, Bihar, and Minister in Charge, Bhojpur, Shri Arun Shankar Prasad, the Tiranga Yatra was attended by public representatives, officials, students, and other dignitaries. A large number of citizens participated enthusiastically.

The 'Tiranga Yatra' (Tricolour Procession) commenced at the JP Memorial and proceeded to the War Memorial. During the procession, a large crowd marched forward carrying the national flag, raising patriotic slogans and chanting 'Vande Mataram'. An atmosphere of patriotism, national unity, and enthusiasm prevailed along the entire route.

Honorable Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) Shri Raghavendra Pratap Singh (Barhara) and Shri Mahesh Paswan (Agiaon), Mayor Smt. Indu Devi, Zila Parishad Chairperson Smt. Asha Devi, and other public representatives were present on this occasion. Also present were District Magistrate (Bhojpur) Shri Tanay Sultania, Superintendent of Police Shri Raj, the Deputy Development Commissioner, the Additional Collector, and other district-level officials.

The Tiranga Yatra saw the participation of NCC cadets, Scouts and Guides, teachers, students, and a large number of children, youth, women, the elderly, and general citizens. Everyone expressed their respect for the national flag and their commitment to the country with great enthusiasm and zeal.

The objective of the Tiranga Yatra was to further strengthen respect for the national flag, national unity and integrity, and the spirit of patriotism among the public. Through this procession, residents were encouraged to actively participate in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and were urged to respectfully hoist the national flag at their homes, business establishments, and institutions on Independence Day.

The public representatives, officials, students, and citizens participating in the procession pledged to celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm, dignity, and a spirit of patriotism, while affirming their commitment to the nation's unity, integrity, and sovereignty.

On this occasion, the district administration appealed to the residents to participate enthusiastically in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and to play a significant role in strengthening national unity and patriotism by hoisting the national flag at their homes, establishments, and institutions on Independence Day, adhering to prescribed protocols and showing full respect.
