PROGRAMME ON PARTITION MEMORIAL DAY
On the occasion of Partition Horrors Memorial Day, a program was organized at the district headquarters today in the august presence of the Honorable Minister-in-Charge and Minister of Labor Resources and Migrant Workers Welfare and Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department, Government of Bihar, Mr. Arun Shankar Prasad.

ARA---------------------------On the occasion of Partition Horrors Memorial Day, a program was organized at the district headquarters today in the august presence of the Honorable Minister-in-Charge and Minister of Labor Resources and Migrant Workers Welfare and Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department, Government of Bihar, Mr. Arun Shankar Prasad.
The program began with a two-minute silence in memory of the horrors of Partition. Following this, a poignant documentary depicting the human tragedy, displacement, and suffering of the Partition of 1947 was screened. The documentary effectively presented the circumstances of that period and the hardships faced by the people.
After the screening of the documentary, Honorable Minister in Charge, Shri Arun Shankar Prasad, stated that Partition Horrors Memorial Day, while remembering this painful chapter in history, inspires us to further strengthen national unity, integrity, and social harmony. He stated that India's unity in diversity is our greatest strength, and we must contribute to the nation's progress by continuously strengthening the spirit of mutual brotherhood and harmony.
On this occasion, District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Shri Tanay Sultania, stated that Partition Horrors Memorial Day is an opportunity to learn from history and strengthen unity, harmony, and a sense of responsibility towards the nation. He emphasized that we must remember the past and continually strive to build a strong, inclusive, and united India.
At the end of the program, the Honorable Minister in Charge, Shri Arun Shankar Prasad, District Council Chairperson, Smt. Asha Devi, District Magistrate, Bhojpur, along with other guests, lit lamps and paid tribute to the victims of the Partition disaster.
The Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer, Ara Sadar, Assistant Collector, Director DRDA, District Art and Culture Officer, along with district-level officials from various departments, district administration officials and staff, students, and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
