SRI RAM KAUSHAL UNIVERSITY OPENED IN BUXAR

BUXAR-------------------------After getting cabinet approval for the Women's University in the name of Mata Sita in Patna and the proposed university in the name of national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar in Begusarai, the demand for a new university has also arisen in Buxar. State spokesperson of Bihar Congress, Dr. Snehasish Vardhan has demanded from the state government to establish 'Shri Ram Kaushal Vishwavidyalaya' in Buxar, famous as the initiation place of Lord Shri Ram.

Dr. Vardhan said that the mythological and historical importance of Buxar is very special. According to religious beliefs, Lord Shri Ram had received education and initiation in Vishwamitra Ashram. In such a situation, the establishment of a skill university in the name of Shri Ram in Buxar can connect the historical identity of the area with modern education and employable skill development.

He said that an initiative is being taken to establish new universities under the Bihar Specialized Universities Act 2026, hence Buxar should also be included in it. Study of modern technology, skill development and employment related subjects can be started in the proposed university.

Congress spokesperson said that at present there are limited options for higher education in Buxar. For masters and research students have to go to Arrah or other cities. With the establishment of a university in Buxar, students will get opportunities for higher education at the local level and the academic load on Veer Kunwar Singh University will also be reduced.

He said that the establishment of Shri Ram Kaushal University can boost the tourism, skill development and employment sectors of Buxar along with education. He demanded Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and the state government to seriously consider this proposal.
