DANDIYA AT BIHAR CENTRAL SCHOOL IN BUXAR

BUXAR-----------------------------On the eve of Saptami during the Sharadiya Navratri, a Dandiya event was organized—as is the annual tradition—on the premises of Bihar Central School, located on Bypass Road in Buxar city. Women participated in the festivities by performing the traditional Dandiya dance, sharing in the joy of the Navratri season.

The event commenced with the offering of floral tributes and the lighting of a ceremonial lamp before an image of Goddess Durga. The women present bowed before the Goddess, praying for the well-being, prosperity, peace, and happiness of their families and society at large. Following this, they enthusiastically joined in the Dandiya dance. Women from dozens of families took part, filling the entire school campus with an atmosphere of devotion, zeal, and celebration.

The Dandiya event was jointly organized by Usha Singh, Urmila Singh, Kanchan, Kumari Asha, Dimple, and Subhanti Tiwari. The school administration also made excellent arrangements for refreshments for all the attendees.

Speaking on the occasion, Saroj Singh, Secretary of Bihar Central School, remarked that festivals like Navratri offer an opportunity to connect with our culture and traditions. Such events foster social interaction, communal harmony, and the preservation of cultural heritage. He expressed his gratitude to all the women who organized the event and to the families who attended.
