ARA--------------------------BJP MP Manoj Tiwari visited Bilauti village on Monday in connection with the high-profile Bharat Tiwari case and met the aggrieved family and villagers. He stated that while the tragic incident that befell the family and the village cannot be undone, every possible effort is being made to ensure justice. The MP mentioned that he had listened carefully to the family's demands and presented them individually to the Chief Minister.

The MP further added that the Chief Minister had also met the family, demonstrating sensitivity. He noted that action—including the filing of FIRs, suspensions, and arrests—has been taken against local officials whose roles came to light *prima facie*. He assured that the guilty would face legal action and the family would receive justice.

During the interaction, villagers raised the issue of cases registered against them during protests. According to the villagers, cases have been filed against approximately 14 named individuals and around 50 unidentified persons. Responding to this, the MP said that, considering the natural reactions of people during protests, he would present a report to the Chief Minister and strive to secure relief for innocent villagers.

Expressing concern over alleged factionalism in the village, Manoj Tiwari appealed to the residents to maintain mutual brotherhood. He remarked that Bharat Tiwari’s goal was the welfare of society and the people; therefore, any dispute in the village in his name was inappropriate. The MP assured that Bharat Tiwari's family would not be left unsupported.

The MP requested the family and villagers to submit any suggestions or grievances in writing so that the fight for justice could be pursued effectively. He stated that if an unarmed person lost their life, it constitutes a grave injustice, and the demand for justice will persist on this very ground.

Referring to the plea for justice made by Bharat Tiwari's sister—who had tied a *rakhi* on him—the MP said he considers himself a member of the family and will stand by them at every step. He also endorsed the demand for a memorial in Bharat Tiwari's name, affirming that it would certainly be built, though the immediate priority is the fight for justice. The MP assured that every possible effort would continue to ensure the guilty are punished.
