ARA-------------------------------Miscreants traveling in a Scorpio vehicle snatched a bag containing silver jewelry and cash from a jeweler near Sarangpur, within the jurisdiction of the Ara Mufassil police station. After committing the crime, the miscreants fled the scene in their vehicle. The victim has submitted a written complaint to the local police station, requesting the registration of an FIR.
According to reports, Sonu Kumar—a resident of Ramgarhiya in the Town police station area—owns a jewelry shop named 'Maa Vaishnavi Jewellers' near Ramapur Mor in the Mufassil police station area. As on any other day, he was returning home on his motorcycle after closing his shop at 6:45 PM on Thursday. Near the Sarangpur Lakdiya bridge, a Scorpio approaching from behind grazed his motorcycle.
Losing his balance, the shopkeeper fell into a ditch. A miscreant then stepped out of the Scorpio, snatched his bag, and fled towards Ara in the vehicle. The bag contained silver anklets, toe rings, shop keys, and approximately fifteen thousand rupees in cash. An FIR has been lodged against an unknown person in connection with this incident.
