Golden Minute Training Empowers 100 Healthcare Workers to Save Newborn Lives in Badaun

RNI Badaun: On the occasion of National NRP Day, a special training workshop was organized at the District Women Hospital to train healthcare workers in newborn resuscitation and emergency care during the “Golden Minute” after birth.

Around 100 doctors and nurses from various community health centers participated in the practical training conducted in two batches by pediatric specialist Dr. Sandeep Varshney and Medical Officer Dr. Ashish Kumar.

Experts said timely intervention during the first minute after birth can significantly reduce newborn mortality. Senior health officials, including Dr. Anamika Singh Chauhan, Dr. Navneet Singh, and Dr. Rajveer Gangwar, were also present during the workshop.
