On the other, the Bihar Board has released the notification for STET. The online application process is set to begin on August 17. However, the major news is that candidates appearing for the STET exam this year will also be eligible to apply for TRE 4. Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari himself shared this information. He stated that the STET 2026 results would be declared before the TRE exam is conducted, allowing candidates who pass STET to participate in TRE 4.

The Education Minister confirmed that the STET exam would take place before TRE 4, and its results would be released beforehand. The application process for STET begins on August 17, while vacancies for TRE 4 are highly likely to be announced by the last week of August. The Education Department has clarified that the STET results will be declared without fail before the TRE 4 exam commences. Admit cards for TRE 4 will be issued only to those candidates who pass the STET exam. Minister Mithilesh Tiwari mentioned that several aspirants had met him to request inclusion in TRE 4. Subsequently, a new strategy was formulated during a meeting involving officials from the Bihar Board, the Education Department, and the BPSC. He added that Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has also approved this proposal.
