ARA------------------------A young man riding a 'Bullet' motorcycle died on the spot, and his friend was critically injured, in a road accident that occurred late Thursday night near Bibiganj (under the Gajrajganj Outpost area) on the Ara-Buxar NH-922. The injured youth is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ara city.

According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Vishnu Shankar Tiwari (30), son of Shriram Tiwari and a resident of Bihiya town (under the Bihiya police station area). He ran a medical store at Bihiya Chaurasta. The injured youth has been identified as Sonu Kumar Singh (28), a resident of Amrai Nawada village within the same police station area. It is reported that Sonu Kumar Singh works as a driver for the owner of a private hotel in Siwan.

Speaking over the phone, the deceased's family members stated that Vishnu Shankar Tiwari's friend, Sonu Kumar Singh, had arrived in Ara from Siwan on Thursday night. Vishnu had gone to Ara on his 'Bullet' motorcycle to pick him up. The two were returning to their village from Ara when, near Bibiganj, a truck moving ahead of them on the four-lane highway suddenly applied its brakes. Consequently, the 'Bullet' motorcycle, which was following behind, rammed into the truck.

The impact was so severe that Vishnu Shankar Tiwari died on the spot, while Sonu Kumar Singh sustained critical injuries. Upon receiving news of the accident, family members rushed to the scene. The police took possession of the body and had a post-mortem examination conducted at Sadar Hospital.
