RJD LEADER VIJAY MAHATO LASHED OUT AT NDA IN SASARAM SAID THAT ROHTAS HAS BEEN DEPRIVED OF DEVELOPMENT

SASARAM--------------------------In Sasaram of Rohtas district, former Municipal Council Vice President Vijay Kumar Mahato on Sunday targeted the NDA government. While talking to journalists, Mahato said that Rohtas district, which has a religious and historical identity, has not been able to develop properly till date.

He alleged that the NDA government has continuously ignored basic issues like education, health and employment. He also took a dig at Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha and said that before delimitation, the youth here need education and employment, but these leaders are not paying attention to these basic issues.

Mahato said that till date not a single university has been established in Rohtas district, while no serious initiative has been taken to restart the closed industries or set up new industries. He also said that in this agriculture-dominated district, no arrangements have been made so far for facilities like 'Kisan Haat' for the farmers.

Regarding tourism, he said that no concrete steps have been taken to bring Rohtas, which is full of religious and historical heritage, forward on the tourism map. Vijay Mahato also claimed that if the party gives him an opportunity, he will put Rohtas in the queue of leading developing districts of Bihar.

He also raised questions on the foundation stone laying program of Rs 500 crore done by the Prime Minister recently in the district and said that despite the announcements, no special change has taken place at the ground level, due to which there is dissatisfaction among the general public. Mahato said that this time the public is not going to be fooled by anyone.
