New Women Police Station Building Inaugurated in Badaun, SSP Ankita Sharma Performs Groundbreaking Ceremony

RNI Badaun : In a major step towards strengthening women’s safety, dignity and empowerment in the district, Ankita Sharma Senior Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma on Wednesday performed the bhoomi pujan and laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new women police station building in Chitransh Nagar.

The SSP said the new facility aims to provide a safe, comfortable and accessible environment for women, where victims can register their complaints without hesitation or fear.

The proposed building will include counselling rooms, a women visitors’ lounge and a modern computer room. Special arrangements will also be made for children accompanying women visitors to the police station.

During the programme, Circle Officer City Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay, reserve inspector, women police station in-charge and other police officials and staff members were present.
