FIR AGAINST FORMER DISTRICT BOARD PRESIDENT AND 13 OTHERS FOR SELLING LANDFRAUDULENTLY

BUXAR--------------------------- Despite the efforts of the police administration, the cases of land dispute and fraud in land sale are not decreasing in the district. On similar charges, an FIR has been lodged in Buxar city police station against 14 people including former District Council President Akshaybar Yadav for selling land fraudulently. The FIR has been lodged by Satyanand Mishra, a resident of Barka Rajpur village of Tilak Rai's Hata police station area. In the application given to the police, he has mentioned that the land which has been sold wrongly was his ancestral land and he used to earn his livelihood by farming on it.

He has written in his application that his cousin grandfather late. Ramji Mishra's only daughter Shakuntala Devi got married long ago and in the year 2006, she had also paid Rs 12 lakh for her share of land in the ancestral property, but in the year 2024, by fraud, she has sold about 12 bigha land plot of ancestral property under conspiracy with some people. Satyanand, terming this sale as wrong, has named Shakuntala along with former Zilla Parishad President and Akshaybar Yadav, Mrityunjay Mishra village Dhananjaypur, Amit Kumar Singh Chhotka Rajpur, Satyendra Dubey Khandhra Pandeypur, Jitendra Yadav, Upendra Yadav, Satyendra Yadav, Surendra Yadav, Ramji Mishra village Dada Baba's Dera and others. Let us tell you that even before this, many serious cases have been registered against the former Zilla Parishad President. At the same time, now there is also an allegation of fraud in the sale of land. In this regard, the city police station in-charge said that the application has been received. The matter is being investigated. Appropriate action will be taken if found guilty in the investigation.
