Devpal Singh Elected President, Sandeep Mishra Becomes Bar Secretary in Budaun
Budaun/RNI The annual election of the District Bar Association, Budaun, was conducted peacefully on Wednesday. Senior advocate Devpal Singh was elected President, while senior advocate Sandeep Mishra won the post of General Secretary.
Out of 1,146 registered voters, 1,008 exercised their franchise. Sandeep Mishra defeated his nearest rival, Krishan Gopal Pathak alias Deepak Pathak, by a margin of 76 votes. Devpal Singh secured a decisive victory in the presidential contest, winning by 136 votes.
The results were declared after counting held under the supervision of the Elder Committee. Counting for the remaining posts will be taken up on Thursday after 1 pm.
