SASARAM----------------------------A historic gift has arrived for Rohtas district. Dehri MLA Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Sonu Singh, told Nav Bihar Times that the Urban Development and Housing Department of the Bihar government has approved the selection of the area and development process for the Greenfield Satellite Township in Dehri. With this, Dehri has moved forward towards becoming Bihar's 12th Greenfield Satellite Township.

The main objective of this ambitious plan of the state government is to reduce the pressure of the rapidly growing urban population, develop a planned city equipped with modern facilities, and create new employment and investment opportunities. The proposed satellite township will develop state-of-the-art urban infrastructure, including residential areas, wide roads, drinking water supply, sewerage system, health and educational institutions.

Experts believe that this project will prove to be a milestone in the development of Rohtas district. Its implementation will not only transform the city of Dehri but also provide a new impetus to economic activity in the entire Shahabad region. Increased investment in industry, trade, real estate, and the service sector will also create new employment opportunities for local youth.

The development of the satellite township is expected to establish Dehri as a modern, well-organized, and future-ready city. Local residents and public representatives have welcomed the government's decision, calling it an important step towards the overall development of the region.
